I'm going to use this thread to keep track of my NRL plays instead of making multiple threads each weekend. I've missed a few rounds but I'm always awake late night/early morning when the games take place in Australia so I will be looking to play more games when I get a chance to handicap them. I'll admit, I don't know a whole lot about rugby so hopefully this thread doesn't turn into a total disaster.

I had one other play in this thread ...

Just sneaked in with the broncos there. I also had them (-12.5) and was sweating bullets, they only just got in a try in the last minute.

Unlucky with roosters, but from memory against st-george (at home) they always seem to have close games. I was tempted (to tip roosters) but decided not to touch it.

I've got titans (-5.5) on Sunday. Titans are strong at home and at top of ladder, and warriors are a terrible away team. Might be something for you to look into.

it's rugby league

manly ats are a better tip imo,

roosters was terrible play, dragons got best player back and wasn't factored into the line, on neutral venue, with more dragons support.

It was great to get that converted try in the last minute but I never should have needed that. Once the Broncos went up 26-6 they should have buried the Bunnies and easily covered but they got sloppy on offense and defense and gave up a couple of tries.

For the remaining games I have leans on Canterbury, North Queensland, Gold Coast and Cronulla but need to look into these games more before I play anything.

Jurdo, if you are around I would like to hear your reasons for tipping Manly. They are in great form but if I remember correctly they had a few knocks last week. If there are no significant injuries then maybe I will take a harder look at playing them even though my first thought was to take the Bulldogs.

GL the rest of the weekend guys :toast:

I'm taking the opposite side on 3 of my initial leans for the rest of the weekend ... going to try and hit the favorites straight up and forget the spread but take the points with the dog.

Round 7

Manly Sea Eagles ML -200 (1 unit)

Melbourne Storm ML -150 (1 unit)

Gold Coast Titans ML -220 (2 units)

Wests Tigers +3.5 -110 (1 unit)

Good luck Dooger. I've got leans for manly, storm. I tipped against tigers, in tipping comp, but its a coin-flip if you ask me.

The Titans massive win (I hope) should cover you for any losses ; )

Hey Bills ... No I don't play and I don't think I could find a game where I live if I wanted to. I am still new to rugby as I just started following the NRL last season but that hasn't stopped me from betting on it. I don't watch the games either, just listen to them but they are available to watch on the NRL website usually a day later I think.

Dooger, looks like you didn't pull up too well last week. (I couldnt get online, the net wasnt working for me)

This week, I've got roosters (-5.5) (bought a point)
I'm pretty confident they will run over the top of the raiders, and probably win by 12 +

Also got storm (-8.5) The storm at home, are tough tough team to beat. Newcastle have had a few good wins, but think storm will be too good for them... storm 14+

Oh and if you almost want an almost 100% guarantee, get on Australia money line. Australia will probably win by 30, but test matches are sometimes unpredictable. I see a 2% chance of new zealand actually winning. (No aussie bias involved with my assessment)

No apology needed, I don't mind you posting your plays in here. GL with the Storm ... I don't know if I am going to play that game yet but lean to Newcastle.

The Roosters are just killing the Raiders at halftime. :aktion033
